- access date
- change date
- file size
- file owner
- file group
- file name -exact
- file name - similar

without fiddling around with the unix "find" command's command line options
 
Automating ftp to a remote server
Step: Create a shell script automate-ftp.sh

#!/bin/ksh
set -x
cd /backup/daily
ftp -n backup-server-ip_Or_hostname << !EOF
user backup-username password
cd target-dir-on-backup-server
prompt
mget filename1          # Or you can also specify mget * instead of file name to ftp multiple files
quit
!EOF
